SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I want to contribute to the knowledge of how the brain generates the experience of consciousness and self-awareness. As such, I am interested in cognition and its underlying physiology. I am also keen on the differences in perspective resulting from psychological and physiological disorders of the brain. To this end, I will be pursuing a career in academia, and I believe that studying Neuroscience at Gottingen will grant me the necessary tools to pursue these goals.
