Am 4. Juli 2011 hat Prof. Srirupa Roy um 16 Uhr c.t. im Oeconomicum, Raum 0.167, einen Vortrag zu "Election and Selection: India and the paradox of democracy."gehalten. Frau Roy hat zum 1. September 2011 einen Ruf an die Universität Göttingen für die CeMIS-Professur "State & Democracy in Modern India" angenommen. Frau Roy trug auf Einladung des Seminars für Politikwissenschaften und des CeMIS vor.
