David Köpfer

David Köpfer studied Biophysics at the University of Kaiserslautern where he received his Diploma in 2010. Studying potassium channels via molecular dynamics simulations, he received his PhD at the Max-Planck Institute for biophysical chemistry in Göttingen. After a short period as a Post-Doc he joined the Deloitte Analytics Institute in December 2015, where he is working as a senior consultant in the data science division.
He has more than 8 years of experience in data preparation and analysis. His areas of expertise are analytics, machine learning, optimization, predictive modeling, rapid prototyping and visualization. He has supported numerous projects with end-to-end data science from data cleansing to operationalization.
