Minerva FemmeNet (Max Planck Society)
Career Advancement for Women
The Max Planck Society has set up a mentoring programme - Minerva-FemmeNet - that offers support to all female junior scientists - from graduate to top qualified scientist - tailored towards their respective professional qualifications.
Minerva-FemmeNet is a network for female scientists at the Max Planck Society, which was set up at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysics in Frankfurt in early 2001. The idea behind this project is to use the experience of highly qualified female scientists - including former employees at Max Planck Institutes - to the benefit of young women scientists at the institute through a mentoring relationship.
